Nathan Gunn
February 14, 2013
UA Crowder Hall

Nathan Gunn, Baritone
Julie Gunn, Piano

One of the most in-demand baritones today and a frequent interpreter of new works, Gunn’s compelling stage presence – People Magazine named him one of the ‘Sexiest Men Alive’ in 2008 – and musical versatility have given him star billing in operas around the world, ranging from contemporary works to Mozart’s masterpieces. Singing with orchestras and in recital, the Grammy-winning Gunn has ventured outside the standard opera repertoire with appearances in “Camelot” with the New York Philharmonic and “Showboat” at Carnegie Hall. The New York Times says, “Nathan Gunn commands an operatic baritone whose mighty heft and richness confer an outsize authority on everything he touches.”
