As a department of the University of Arizona, education is a primary goal of ours. Every season, we go out into the community to ensure that Tucson and Southern Arizona enjoy the benefits of arts education. From in-classroom work with touring performers to smaller community-based Arts Encounters and discussions, UApresents truly brings the arts to Tucson.

Through our School Matinee program, many K-12 students experience their first live performing arts event while expanding their conception of the world and its diverse cultures. Such knowledge further completes their primary education. Likewise, we provide the opportunity for teachers to learn more about how to integrate the arts into their classrooms and develop curriculum connections.
