UApresents is committed to protecting your privacy and creating a safe, secure online environment for anyone who visits our website. This privacy policy will advise you about how we protect your personal information and about what choices you have concerning the use of that information. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and on the bottom of each page.

The Information We Collect and How We Use It
We created this website to provide information about our performances and to fulfill ticket requests and accept contributions. We gather two types of limited information from visitors to our website: anonymous usage information, and the personal information provided by those who register with us to purchase tickets, make a donation and/or receive email news and special offers.

UApresents collects this information to inform patrons of upcoming events, changes in programs or to ask support for our organization. Occasionally, we trade post office mailing lists with other Tucson not-for-profit arts organizations. We never sell or trade phone numbers or email addresses.

Anonymous Information
We respect the privacy of our online visitors. As you browse our website without being logged in, we collect no personally identifiable information about your visit. We do, however, collect some information when you access our site.

In addition to information provided by those who register, we may record information such as, but not limited to the following:

Internet address
Web pages requested
Referring web page
Browser and plug-ins used
Date, time and duration of activity
Passwords and accounts accessed
Volume of data storage and transfers

We also monitor traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop and improve the design and layout of the site. Information is collected for analysis and statistical purposes and is used to help diagnose problems.

Cookies
We use cookies to improve your experience at uapresents.org. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that a website transfers to your computer"s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user"s computer.

We use cookies only in the most limited manner, that is, to help our web servers maintain your current session as you go from one page to another and to keep track of your shopping cart contents.

Personal Information
We do require customers to provide personal information in order to purchase tickets, make contributions or to join our mailing list. In these cases, we collect only the personal information that a registrant specifically provides when registering, including user name and password. If you register, this information is used to fulfill your request and to provide a record of your transaction. It is sorted by UApresents and used again in subsequent visits only if you wish to make another purchase, make a contribution, or have an inquiry. Only logging-in triggers personal recognition on our site.

Personal data includes a patron's name, address, phone numbers, credit card number, email address, and purchase history. We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to compete that order.

Personal information submitted to us, including but not limited to email addresses, is available to 1) our employees who manage this information for the purpose of contacting you or sending you materials based on your request for information and 2) contracted third party organizations for the sole purpose of processing and sending information on our behalf.

We may collect information volunteered by you such as survey information.

Mail, Phone and Email List Policy
UApresents will not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose the email address you share with us. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive.

We do not partner with nor have special relationships with any ad server companies. From time to time, we may share targeted ticket buyer names and postal address-only lists via third party mail houses with like non-profit organizations for one-time use only. While UApresents cannot be responsible for the practices of other like organizations, our partner not-for-profits do adhere to similar policies. We will not provide any information to them if patron permission has been denied. You can also send an email to uapresents and type 'Unsubscribe' in the subject line.

When you provide your email address and your permission to UApresents, we will periodically contact you through email, providing you information about upcoming events, special notices and updates, contest opportunities, etc. If you don't want to receive periodic email notices from UApresents, please update your preferences using the link at the bottom of any email you receive from us. A link to unsubscribe from email notices is also provided at the bottom of each email message.

Links
The UApresents website provides links to other organizations' websites, but we are not responsible for the privacy policies, terms and conditions of use or content of any such web sites. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with privacy policies and terms and conditions of use of linked websites.

Secure Transactions
Our website secures your private information using web browser trusted Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") certificates. SSL certificates (a) encrypt all data transmission between your computer and our website, and (b) verify UApresents as the owner or operator of the website located at www.uapresents.org. Web browser trusted SSL certificates are deployed and trusted by a majority of ecommerce website operators worldwide.

Although every effort is made to secure network communications, UApresents cannot ensure the privacy of online communications. Individuals using online services should also take steps to protect personal information such as closing the web browser when finished using the Internet and logging out. Failure to do so may result in personal information being viewed by someone else using the same computer.

Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. We do not solicit personal information from persons known to be children. We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13. It is our policy never to knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13.

Correcting or Updating Personal Information
If your personal information changes, we will gladly correct or update any data you have previously provided to us. We may retain a copy of the prior version for our records.

Changes to the Policy
UApresents reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, for any reason in its sole discretion. Changes to this Privacy Policy become effective upon posting to our website.
